TT4I Network Expands with Future8 and RISE Joining the Impact Licensing Initiative

The Impact Licensing Initiative (ILI) continues to strengthen its Network of Tech Transfer Facilities for Impact (TT4I) with the addition of two new members: Future8 and RISE (Research and Innovation Services d.o.o.). The collaboration agreements represent a significant milestone in the scaling up of impact licensing as a strategic tool for the responsible valorisation of knowledge across Europe and beyond.

Future8, a non-profit organisation, brings strong expertise in collaborative research and innovation, particularly in managing large-scale European projects and driving impact-oriented knowledge valorisation. With a proven track record in designing dissemination, communication, and exploitation strategies, Future8 plays a key role in connecting research with industry, policy, and innovation ecosystems.

RISE, a Croatian SME, contributes extensive experience in innovation management, knowledge-intensive services, and international R&I project design. Organised around broad innovation ecosystems, RISE brings expertise across sectors such as health, quantum, industrial technologies, and agri-food, alongside strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement and knowledge valorisation. Acting as an independent intermediary, RISE collaborates closely with technology transfer offices, innovation agencies, and research institutions to strengthen innovation capacity and promote inclusive access to research results

By joining the TT4I network, both organisations will help advance measurable technology transfer outcomes, including the implementation of Impact Licensing Agreements, support for spin-offs, and the deployment of innovations across markets. Their involvement will also strengthen ESG-aligned impact reporting, unlock new commercial pathways for existing R&I assets, and promote frugal and reciprocal innovation through real-world application and feedback loops.

Furthermore, their contribution will support risk reduction and improve investment readiness by facilitating demand-driven technology screening and structured collaboration processes. As TT4Is, Future8 and RISE will act as key enablers within the innovation ecosystem, connecting research, industry, investors, and public stakeholders to translate innovation into sustainable societal and economic impact.
